The Forces traveled to the Islands Dutch Caribbeans during the week of
November 22-30, 2008.
They were invited by the Minister of Education, Health and Culture, Ms.
Omayra Leeflang of the Netherlands Antilles. This was the first
time a double dutch group traveled and performed throughout the Dutch
Caribbeans. The Forces performed on five islands: Curacao, Saba,
Bonaire, Saint Eustiatus, and Sanit Maarten and conducted three
workshops. The purpose of the trip was to introduce a sport that
was inexpensive to do and to help with obesity on the Islands.
This was a wonderful experience for the group.

The
FORCES
consist of approximately 85 members ranging from elementary
through college age students. We entertain others with our fancy
footwork when we are not competing. The Forces hold 217
State Titles, 94 World Titles, 60 Second Place Titles, 19National,
3 Grand National Titles, and 15 AAU Titles 6 Apollo
Championships.
We are proud to say, "WE DO IT SOUTHERN STYLE!"
